Please be advised of the following changes to Türkiye’s customs regulations.
Effective February 6, 2026, the simplified customs clearance threshold for B2C shipments to Türkiye will be changed as outlined below.
Key Changes
:Simplified Customs Clearance threshold
- Before: Up to EUR 30
- After: EUR 0
As a result, all B2C shipments, regardless of value or country of origin, must undergo Formal Customs Clearance.
Important Notes on Formal Clearance
- DHL will no longer provide customs clearance services for B2C shipments.
- The consignee must directly designate an alternative customs broker.
- Final delivery will be possible only after all duties, import taxes, and customs fees charged by the broker are fully paid.
- By law, all customs brokers are required to charge a minimum customs clearance fee (approximately EUR 70) to the consignee.
Additional Information
- These regulations apply to all B2C shipments to Türkiye shipped on or after February 6, 2026.
- Please note that additional costs or delivery delays may occur due to the new customs clearance requirements.
